Product Manager Specialised Management Programmes

Your mission  

  • Take ownership (with the support of a group product manager) of a portfolio of open executive education programmes in our specialist domains (project management, supply chain and operations).
  • Be responsible for sales & marketing, programme design and delivery, together with faculty and other supporting units (catering, operations, administration).
  • Work towards meeting the targets of your programmes and domain in terms of revenues and quality of the experience.
  • Actively follow up on commercial activities (leads, programme advice, networking activities, …), securing participants for your programmes and domain with the support of our executive education marketing team. This includes promoting the offer at relevant events in your field.
  • Become a credible sounding board for leads, customers and faculty by building content expertise in the programmes you are responsible for.
  • Build an internal and external network by regularly attending relevant network events and by maintaining a close relationship with your faculty, participants and alumni.
  • Take care of the facilitation of around 30 days of open executive education programmes. Provide programme participants with a warm Vlerick learning experience; professionally welcoming, supporting & advising them during their time on campus and/or online. Where relevant, facilitate sessions to help participants apply their learnings to their professional environment.
  • Maintain close working relationships with the faculty and researchers in your domains. You will closely collaborate with faculty and attend Vlerick and external events and research initiatives in your domains to network and promote your open portfolio.
  • Be a leading partner in (new) programme design in all its aspects (integrating new trends, adapting to new formats, …).
  • Be a team player in a team of 14 passionate programme managers all responsible for various portfolios.

 

You

  • Knowledgeable and passionate about the portfolio of products and your customers. You can be a credible sounding board to both customers and faculty on the topics of supply chain, operations, project management and digitalisaton.
  • Possess proactive sales and networking skills. You can connect with different stakeholders and are ready to be a credible advisor for (senior) executives.
  • Possess great stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Like being in (front of) a group and have a customer-centric approach.
  • Have an excellent written and verbal knowledge of English and are proficient in Dutch. You will mainly interact with customers in the Belgian market.
  • Are tech-savvy, a quick problem solver and can easily asapt to new situations.
  • Have obtained a master’s degree or equivalent through work experience. A degree in economics, commercial engineering or alike is a plus.
  • Are flexible in terms of working hours and location. You are willing to facilitate programmes (including some evenings) on our campus in Ghent, Brussels and Leuven. On non-coordination days you can easily work from home or on our campus closest to you.
