PR & Content Specialist

Your mission
- Linked to the overall brand & marketing strategy and business objectives, and in close collaboration with the Head of Marketing, develop and manage the international press and public relations strategy, priorities and activity plan for the organisation, ensuring positive media coverage and enhancing the school's reputation.
- Be responsible for writing and distributing all press releases at the school level.
- Manage the relationship with external suppliers for PR, media & social monitoring and copywriting. Ensure they meet our quality standards, tone of voice and budget.
- Work as part of the content marketing team and with the social media marketeer to develop impactful brand content that supports the brand & marketing strategy. Ensure that content developed from a PR perspective is also widely shared across other channels to optimise impact.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal faculty and media contacts, journalists, and influencers to promote the school's initiatives and achievements.
- Track and report on the effectiveness of press and PR activities, using data to optimize strategies and demonstrate impact.
- Stay updated on the latest trends and best practices in press, PR, brand storytelling and content marketing.
- Be part of the Central Marketing team and report directly to the Head of Marketing.
You
- Have at least 5 years of relevant experience in press & PR strategy, planning and implementation.
- Have at least 5 years of relevant experience in brand storytelling and copywriting.
- Are organized and detail-oriented, capable of managing multiple workflows simultaneously and meeting short deadlines.
- Have a strong network of media contacts and experience in building and maintaining media relationships.
- Are capable of building and maintaining a strong network of internal stakeholders to feed into PR & broader brand content.
- Have an excellent written and verbal knowledge of English and Dutch.
- Are flexible to work on our two campuses (Ghent and Brussels), in combination with your home office.
