Avansa Kempen

Avansa Kempen is one of twelve Avansa organisations active in Flanders and Brussels. We work from a pluralistic perspective and strive for a sustainable, inclusive, caring and democratic society. We bring people together and promote practices that increase participation and encourage engagement, active citizenship and a sense of responsibility. In this way, we work towards a better world and help build a more democratic and, above all, resilient society.

Here in the Kempen region, we work in the field of socio-cultural adult education across the 27 municipalities of the Kempen reference region. We are there for citizens, organisations and policymakers. Together, we develop projects that help improve life and community in our region.

We do this in various ways: we support citizens and organisations through long-term programmes, organise debates and gatherings, and provide advice and guidance. In short, we offer a diverse and engaging range of activities for an equally diverse and fascinating region.
